  • The Linux Wacom Project manages the drivers, libraries, and documentation for configuring and running Wacom tablets under the Linux operating system. It contains diagnostic applications as well as updated kernel drivers and XFree86/Xorg XInput drivers.

The Documentation section contains step-by-step instructions for getting your tablet running. If you run into trouble, let us know so we can get the documentation updated.

To assist you, there are three mailing lists providing forums for announcements, development traffic, and general discussion. The archives for these forums are also useful for researching problems you are encountering.

The most recent updates are available in the News section, including bug fixes, recently discovered problems, available solutions, and general development progress.

The most commonly asked questions and the best answers available to date are in the FAQ. If you still have problem, please check Trackers to see if someone else has reported the issue or has a patch for the problem.

For application developers, we have an overview of adding new capabilities to your applications by using a Wacom tablet and sample code for getting the button and valuator values.
